Job Summary
Meet with the Quality Control Manager to discuss safety, quality, production scheduling, and equipment requirements. Maintain assigned areas and laboratory calibration systems to ensure products meet customer and company standards. Lead and assist in quality problem investigations, resolutions, and dispositions while monitoring data trends in chemicals, yarn, and fabric properties. Troubleshoot laboratory equipment, manage lab supplies, and support projects from Process Engineers. Communicate quality performance to manufacturing areas to aid corrective actions and report concerns to applicable departments. Perform appropriate written documentation and computer operations as required. Travel to customers or vendors as needed for quality-related issues.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent
- One year supervisory experience
- Must be able to wear personal protective equipment as required, based on job assignment
Desired Qualifications
- BS Degree in Textile Chemistry, Chemical or related Engineering
