Job Summary
Conduct visual inspection under magnification on printed circuit boards to identify quality defects against conformance specs and complete reject reports. Obtain FAI reports and packaging requirements before moving orders to shipping, then perform final counts of acceptable parts and sign travelers. Maintain clean workspaces and complete first article or AS91002 reports while communicating customer inquiries via email. Perform some out-of-department in-process inspection and moderate physical lifting up to 20 lbs. Work a day or night shift in a Sunnyvale, California manufacturing environment.
Required Qualifications
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Exceptional multi-tasking, organizational skills, strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work with all levels of management
- Self-motivator and a sense of ownership and urgency
- Must be able to maintain confidentiality & professionalism at all times
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, using Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
- Read, write and communicate in English
- Basic arithmetic in reference to instructions where interpretations are required
- Ability to visually verify fine detail work
- Ability to understand and follow directions when inspecting printed circuit boards
- Basic understanding of prints and specifications, ability to complete FAI reports and communicate via email with customer inquiries
- Moderate physical lifting of up to 20-Ibs
- Ability to lift 20-40 lbs
- Ability to open filing cabinets
- Ability to bend, stand, or climb on step ladders as necessary
