QC Inspector - Nucor Towers & Structures

Job Summary
QC Inspector responsibilities include verifying and documenting that finished products are manufactured in compliance with customer specifications and AWS D1.1, performing dimensional layout and visual weld inspections on all welds, and documenting inspections on the appropriate forms. Safety is emphasized and candidates must demonstrate the ability to initiate and uphold safety policies, practices, and housekeeping standards at all times. Requires a High School diploma or equivalent, 2 years of welding experience, proficiency with Microsoft Office, and ASNT SNT-TC-1A VT Level II or CWI certification. Preferred familiarity with steel transmission/distribution monopole structures, blueprint reading and layout, UT Level II and MT Yoke Level II inspections, galvanizing and coatings inspections, and weld inspection per AWS D1.1.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent
- 2 years of Welding Experience
- ASNT SNT-TC-1A VT Level II or CWI certification
