QC Inspector I

Job Summary
Perform routine inspections of incoming, in-process, and finished parts to ensure conformance to quality assurance standards. Conduct dimensional and visual inspections of manufactured assemblies using micrometers, calipers, and gauges to verify mechanical compliance against engineered drawings. Compile inspection data, document findings, and report rework or reject information to experienced personnel. Complete training on Optical Metrology Systems, XRF instruments, and client ERP modules while maintaining proficiency in Microsoft Office for documentation. Submit clear numerical data and monitor own work to ensure accuracy and thoroughness throughout the inspection cycle.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- Proficient Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel software skills
- Attention to detail
- Clear communication skills
- Must be able to complete training to achieve proficiency in use of Optical Metrology Systems, XRF measuring instruments, and associated modules within client's ERP system
- Must be able to view ITAR data without a license
- 1-3 years of applicable experience
- Employment is contingent upon the success of background check and drug screening
Desired Qualifications
- Knowledge of IPC-A-610, IPC-J-STD-001 preferred
- Knowledge of GD&T desired
- 1-3 years of previous experience in Quality Control Inspection of electronic devices is desirable
- Experience working in an ISO 9001/AS9100 certified manufacturing environment is desired
