Job Summary
A&P Certified Aircraft Inspector responsible for updating maintenance tracking, reviewing work packages for accuracy, and performing preliminary, in-progress, and final inspections to ensure airworthiness. Duties include verifying compliance with FAA specifications and airworthiness directives, properly tagging rejected parts, executing FAA form 8010-4 and FAA form 337, maintaining comprehensive maintenance records, and signing mechanical flight releases. Requires a Mechanic's Certificate with Airframe and Powerplant ratings, 5+ years of commercial or regional aircraft experience, familiarity with FAR parts 53, 65, 91, 121, 135, and 145, computer literacy, and successful completion of drug/alcohol screening, background, and security checks; must have a valid driver's license and be eligible to work in the United States.
Required Qualifications
- Hold a Mechanic's Certificate with Airframe and Powerplant ratings. Meets requirements of 14 CFR Part 65.83
- Verifiable aircraft maintenance employment within last 2 years
- Minimum of 5 years commercial or regional aircraft experience
- Familiar with parameters and standards established specifically in Federal Aviation Regulations (FAR) parts 53, 65, 91, 121, 135, and 145
- Computer literate with the ability to learn new software applications
- Must pass all conducted drug/alcohol screening, background and security checks and prove eligibility for employment in the United States
- Valid driver's license
