QC Inspector

Job Summary
Inspect finished products for damage and errors while ensuring they meet order specifications and quality control requirements. Interpret documentation to determine specific needs, interface with customers to resolve technical issues, and recommend corrective measures. Maintain inspection records, document processes, and train Quality Inspector I and II personnel. Lead work teams where necessary and provide approval for others' work. Contribute to continuous improvement efforts by analyzing data and suggesting process enhancements. Perform tasks requiring basic motor skills, reading technical manuals, and lifting objects over 30lbs in a controlled manufacturing environment.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Five years experience in Quality Inspection or equivalent
- Demonstrated proficiency at a Quality Specialist level
- Ability to collect and analyze data
- Knowledge of specialized equipment used within the respective discipline
- Ability to apply techniques standard to the respective area of discipline
- Ability to work well in a team
- Good speaking and writing skills
- Problem Solving
- Ability to solve problems in situations standard to the area of specialty, but where there may be little precedent
- Ability to work independently
- Required to use basic motor skills on a daily basis
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, instructions, and procedure manuals
- May be required to lift objects weighing more than 30lbs on a daily basis
