Job Summary
Conduct dimensional and mechanical inspections of components and assemblies, including thread inspections per API standards and PT/MT testing. Review inspection plans, coordinate activities with clients and OEMs, and manage non-conformance reports and corrective actions. Verify calibration status of measuring equipment and support supplier and incoming material inspections. Ensure full compliance with client, OEM, and regulatory quality requirements while contributing to quality improvement initiatives. This role requires ASNT Level II certification and deep knowledge of API 5CT, 5B, and 7 standards.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering
- Minimum 5–10 years of QC/Inspection experience in rotating equipment, machining, repair, or manufacturing environments
- Experience with compressors, turbines, pumps, and rotating equipment
- ASNT Level II certification in PT and MT mandatory
- Strong knowledge of API 5CT, API 5B, API 7-1, and API 7-2 standards
- Experience with dimensional inspection, precision measurement tools, and calibration activities
- Knowledge of quality management systems and root cause analysis techniques
Desired Qualifications
- Experience using CMM or FARO Arm inspection systems is preferred
