Job Summary
Quality Engineer 2 plans and directs activities for the development, application and maintenance of the Haas Automation, Inc. quality system. Essential duties include reviewing engineering change orders and random audits of the quality system, analyzing and resolving manufacturing and assembly problems, supervising the purchase of inspection equipment, designing inspection aids and fixtures, creating detailed drawings and inspections controls for process methods, utilizing department software, auditing work instructions and test procedures, and initiating corrective actions and reporting results. Employees must follow instructions and procedures and uphold honesty and integrity while adhering to company policies.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree BA/BS/BFA/BSA from a four-year college or university is required, plus additional related experience, training and/or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Preferred Major: Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering
- Minimum Years of Experience: 0-1 year
- Language Skills: Must be able to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, and/or governmental regulations in English.
