Job Summary
Quality Engineer 1 develops plans and directs activities for the application and maintenance of the Haas Automation quality system. Responsibilities include basic assembly inspection, reviewing engineering records and audits, recommending supplier qualification or corrective actions, assisting with purchase of inspection equipment, reporting audit findings, monitoring implementation of production/assembly changes, editing and approving work instructions and route sheets, and tracking root-cause and corrective actions from audits. Demonstrates honesty, integrity, and adherence to procedures while ensuring quality workflow.
Required Qualifications
- Associate's degree AA/AS/AAS from a two-year college or technical school is required
- 2-4 years of experience in quality engineering or manufacturing
- Blueprint aptitude and understanding of ER system
- Ability to read, analyze and interpret technical documents and write analytical reports
- Ability to communicate effectively before groups
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
