Job Summary
QC Chemist responsible for developing and validating methods, performing QC analyses on raw materials, in-process samples, and finished products, and ensuring results are accurately reported within ISO 9000, FSSC 22000/22002 and cGMP frameworks. Maintains equipment and lab compliance, prepares solutions/standards, ensures a safe and organized lab, communicates results to internal/external customers, calibrates instruments, investigates out-of-spec results, and supports quality investigations and CAPA while collaborating with production and QA teams.
Required Qualifications
- Associate’s degree in physical science (minimum)
- Minimum of 3 years of laboratory experience
- Experience applying GLP, cGMP, ISO 9000, and FSSC 22000/22002 requirements
- Knowledge of USP monographs for drug testing
- Ability to calibrate lab equipment and maintain records
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently and in a team, with potential overtime and shift flexibility
- Proficiency with instrumental analysis and wet chemistry (HPLC, titrations, physical property testing, color measurement, spectroscopy)
- Experience with data management, documentation practices, and basic troubleshooting
