QC Chemist - 3rd Shift

Job Summary
Conduct required quality control analysis of incoming, manufactured, and outgoing materials, including instrument maintenance, calibrations, and solution preparations. Make acceptance, production adjustments, or rejection decisions while maintaining accurate laboratory records and ensuring clean glassware. Assist in addressing customer product complaints through investigation and analysis, suggesting corrective actions and providing timely technical support to production. Perform daily laboratory activities, complete analytical projects, and manage waste in accordance with SOPs. Uphold Hydrite's Standards of Excellence through continuous commitment to quality facilities and services for internal and external customers. Work Sunday through Thursday, 10 PM to 6:30 AM.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent
- science related field
- good laboratory analytical skills
- good presentation and interpersonal skills
- ability to communicate in English
- advanced math skills

- self-motivated
- ability to initiate continuous improvement
- ability to perform multiple tasks
- communication and interpersonal skills
- ability to read, write, and speak English
- Able to stand six to seven hours a day
- Ability to wear a respirator for up to 4 hours a day
- good manual dexterity
- Able to lift 50 pounds
- Bend, twist, and squat on occasion
- Climb ladders or stairs multiple times per day
- wearing of contact lenses is prohibited
- Must meet DOT vision requirements
- Regular attendance
- Must be RCRA compliant
