Job Summary
Conduct bioassay testing, cell passages, media preparation, and equipment calibrations while maintaining lab cleanliness and performing second-person verification of data and logbook entries. Troubleshoot instrument issues, support deviation investigations, and coach team members on performance reviews and succession planning. Collaborate with leadership and clients to implement business directives, drive operational improvements, and ensure compliance with qualification protocols. Requires a Bachelor's in physical sciences, four years of lab experience, and U.S. work authorization. Full-time Monday to Friday schedule with overtime as needed, plus comprehensive benefits including medical, dental, vision, and 401(k) match.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in physical sciences (e.g., chemistry, physics) or related field
- 4+ years of relevant lab experience (bioassays, cell passages, media/buffer prep)
- Must be authorized to work in the U.S. indefinitely without restriction or need for sponsorship
- Strong computer, scientific, and organizational skills
- Ability to learn new techniques, troubleshoot instruments, and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
- Experience with equipment qualification, maintenance, and documentation
- Proven leadership with a focus on team development, engagement, morale, and retention
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, results-driven environment
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills across diverse skill levels
- Detail-oriented, self-motivated, adaptable, and proactive with a solution-oriented mindset
