QC Analyst

Job Summary
Smell and release raw materials, fragrance batches, and laboratory batches after testing to specifications. Assist production with queries regarding raw material or production batches, while proactively retesting all batches and materials due to specification deviations. Accurately read and enter data onto the QC system, record non-conformances, and issue clear rework instructions. Obtain supplier specifications for raw materials and update the D365 database for material and batch releases. Maintain a clean workspace and liaise with customer services regarding batch delays. This role transitions to night shifts (10pm–6am) by the end of 2026. Candidates must pass the company smelling assessment with a mark greater than 16 and possess previous experience in the fragrance or flavour industry.
Required Qualifications
- Excellent sense of smell
- Pass the Company smelling assessment test with a pass mark of >16
- Previous experience of testing and working practices within the fragrance or flavour industry
- Excellent eye for detail
- The ability to work efficiently and effectively under pressure, in a team and as an individual
- Good problem-solving skills
- The ability to accurately record all data
- Good time Management
- Flexibility required to cover any shift at short notice
- Good communication ability at all levels
- Daytime hours 8.30am – 5pm
- Night shift 10pm-6am
