QAQC Manager

Job Summary

Conduct mechanical and electrical quality inspections for mission-critical data center construction, verifying installations against approved drawings, specifications, and manufacturer requirements. Perform pressure testing, flushing, cleaning, and TAB reviews while monitoring welding quality, piping supports, and equipment alignment. Lead field QAQC activities throughout the construction lifecycle, developing inspection plans, tracking logs, and deficiency reports. Coordinate with subcontractors, commissioning agents, and owner representatives to drive corrective actions and support system turnover. Provide daily and weekly reporting on quality metrics and trends. Requires 10+ years of experience in mission-critical environments, a valid driver's license, and the ability to work in active construction zones.

Required Qualifications

  • 10+ years of experience in QAQC, construction management, or commissioning within mission critical/data center environments
  • Strong understanding of mechanical and/or electrical systems in hyperscale data centers
  • Experience supporting commissioning, startup, and turnover processes
  • Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, specifications, and submittals
  • Familiarity with industry standards including NEC, ASHRAE, SMACNA, and applicable building codes
  • Experience using QAQC/document management platforms such as Procore, BIM360, ACC, or similar systems
  • Excellent communication, reporting, and coordination skills
  • Ability to work in fast-paced construction environments with aggressive schedules
  • Valid driver's license appropriate for the role and eligibility to operate a motor vehicle in accordance with applicable laws
  • Must be able to walk, stand, stoop, twist, bend, and climb stairs or ladders for extended periods while navigating uneven, unpaved, or obstructed terrain
  • Must be able to lift, carry, push, or pull up to 50 pounds on an occasional basis
  • Must be able to drive between job sites and access all areas of an active construction zone, including raised platforms, scaffolding, and confined spaces
  • Must be able to tolerate exposure to outdoor weather conditions, dust, and construction-related noise, vibrations, and odors
  • Must have sufficient visual acuity to read drawings, specifications, and safety signage, and to observe site activity
  • Must possess and maintain a valid driver's license appropriate for the role and be eligible to operate a motor vehicle in accordance with applicable laws
