QA Tester / Senior QA Engineer (Acturis Experience )

Job Summary
Design, develop, and execute test plans, test cases, and scripts for web and enterprise applications. Perform functional, regression, integration, system, and UAT testing to validate workflows, configurations, and data within the Acturis environment. Identify and track software defects using tools like Jira or Azure DevOps while collaborating with developers and business analysts on requirement analysis. Conduct API testing and backend data validation, support production issue troubleshooting, and ensure compliance with QA standards. Apply 5+ years of experience in software testing with mandatory Acturis expertise and insurance domain knowledge. Full-time UK shift in Ahmedabad.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in Software Quality Assurance / Testing
- Hands-on experience working with Acturis (mandatory)
- Strong understanding of manual testing methodologies and SDLC/STLC
- Experience with insurance domain workflows (broking, policy management, claims, underwriting)
- Expertise in writing detailed test cases and defect reports
- Experience with defect tracking tools such as Jira, Azure DevOps, or similar
- Knowledge of API testing tools like Postman
- Basic understanding of SQL/database testing
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodology
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
