Job Summary
The QA Test Engineer II will design and execute effective test coverage utilizing tools such as Python, Behave, Playwright, and Selenium for API, performance, regression, and integration testing. The role necessitates strong analytical skills to develop comprehensive test plans addressing complex software architectures and system integrations. Responsibilities include implementing and maintaining automated test suites, executing manual and automated tests, document results, communicating quality risks, and collaborating within Agile teams to enhance quality improvements through AI-assisted testing techniques.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
- 3–5 years of experience in software testing or quality engineering roles
- Strong understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Agile/iterative methodologies
- Hands-on experience with modern test automation frameworks, including Playwright, Selenium and Behave (BDD)
- Experience with programming/scripting languages such as Python, JavaScript or Ruby
Desired Qualifications
- Experience testing or developing React Native mobile applications for iOS and/or Android
- Hands-on automation experience for React Native mobile apps using tools such as Appium, Detox, and BrowserStack integrations
- Experience with performance and non-functional testing tools such as JMeter
- Familiarity with Linux-based environments
- Exposure to CI/CD pipelines and DevOps-oriented quality practices
- Interest in or experience with AI-assisted testing approaches
