Job Summary
Run end-to-end tests on new features across web and mobile applications before release, then own the release process by testing staging builds and executing final quality gates. Develop risk-based test plans for critical telehealth workflows, including patient-facing experiences and privacy-sensitive functionality, while performing Android device testing to reproduce and verify device-specific issues. Triage, track, and manage bugs to drive closure and maintain backlog control, partnering with engineering and product to define test coverage and prioritize issues. Build and maintain automated tests to expand coverage and speed up regression testing. This hands-on role supports the team's move toward faster, more frequent releases within a fast-growing telehealth company.
Required Qualifications
- Solid QA / software testing experience
- Experience writing and improving test automation and test infrastructure
- Experience using AI coding agents (e.g., Claude Code, Codex) to build and improve automation
- Hands-on Android device testing experience
- Comfortable testing web applications end to end
- Experience working across dev, staging, and production environments and with release processes
- Strong bug tracking, test case management, and triage skills
- Highly organized and detail-oriented
- The judgment to distinguish release-blocking issues from minor ones
- Able to drive quality independently while partnering closely with engineering and product
Desired Qualifications
- Healthcare or telehealth experience
- Familiarity with mobile device management (MDM)
- Experience helping a team move toward a continuous release cycle
