Job Summary
Perform detailed inspections of components, sub-assemblies, and finished products to ensure compliance with established quality standards and specifications. Conduct visual inspections, measurements, and functional tests on a variety of products, including aerial lifts and related components. Document and report non-conformities, defects, and deviations from quality standards, and collaborate with relevant teams to implement corrective actions. Collaborate with the engineering and production teams to identify and address quality issues during the design and manufacturing phases. Assist in the development and implementation of quality control procedures, standards, and guidelines. Maintain accurate and comprehensive records of inspection results, testing data, and other quality control documentation. Participate in internal and external quality audits, providing support and expertise as needed. Collaborate with suppliers to ensure the quality of incoming materials and components.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional technical or vocational training in quality control or a related field is preferred
- Proven experience in quality control, preferably in a manufacturing or production environment
- Strong understanding of quality control principles, techniques, and methodologies
- Familiarity with relevant industry standards and regulations
- Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
- Proficiency in using measurement tools and testing equipment
