QA Technician

Job Summary
QA Technician responsible for ensuring compliance to standards and specifications, maintaining calibration of quality control equipment, testing in-process and finished product samples for microbiological and analytical results, performing inspections across production stages with accurate reporting, preparing and maintaining test data, evaluating data for deviations, reporting findings via email/office tools, identifying quality-improvement opportunities, and communicating quality or compliance concerns with urgency; also performing general lab/plant cleaning and other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- General understanding of laboratory equipment
- Follow Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and Good Laboratory Practices at all times
- Minimum of 1-3 years of quality lab setting and/or food production experience or related degree
- Ability to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds occasionally
- Demonstrated ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Demonstrated ability to analyze and interpret information
- Ability to utilize Microsoft Office applications and ERP systems
- Possible mandatory overtime
