Job Summary
Monitor, verify, and execute quality systems in sterile processing by performing inspections and audits of equipment and processes. Provide feedback to instrumentation techs on duty performance and assist the QA Manager in developing and executing training across all facilities. Collaborate with instrumentation techs to identify and implement continuous improvement opportunities. Maintain IAHCSMM certification as a Central Service Technician within one year of hire. Requires high school diploma, previous experience in manufacturing or sterile processing, and strong mechanical aptitude.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- Must be IAHCSMM certified as a Central Service Technician (or equivalent) within one year of hire
- Previous experience in manufacturing, surgical and/or sterile processing
- Effective communication skills
- Experience in automated systems
- Strong mathematical and analytical skills
- Strong mechanical aptitude
