Job Summary
Conduct tests and inspections at specified stages of the production process, evaluating product attributes such as temperature, defects, code dates, and other quality parameters. Perform quality analysis of incoming raw materials, intermediate, and finished goods, verifying specifications before startup and throughout production. Record, review, and report results for accuracy and completeness while maintaining laboratory equipment and solutions, including calibration, logs, and preparation of necessary materials for testing. Identify, investigate, and resolve quality issues, collaborating with production and cross-functional teams to implement corrective and preventive actions. Contribute to audits, special projects, and system improvement initiatives, ensuring compliance with company policies, food safety standards, and regulatory requirements.
Required Qualifications
- Associate degree (A.A.) or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school
- Six months to one year of related experience and/or training
- An equivalent combination of education and experience
