Job Summary
QA Technician - entry level role in a manufacturing facility focused on ensuring food products meet customer specifications through testing batches, taste testing, and logging results. Responsibilities include product testing, audits of batch controls and weights, sampling raw materials and finished goods, communicating status to key personnel, maintaining hold reports/tags, entering daily production data, and ensuring GMP, SOP, HACCP, and OSHA compliance. Requires ability to read English work documents, strong safety focus, and teamwork; physical duties include standing, lifting up to 50 pounds, and tolerating a demanding, fast-paced environment.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- One year of quality experience in food or pharmaceutical manufacturing preferred
