Job Summary
Maneuver and perform evaluations of samples while monitoring antimicrobial levels throughout production areas to ensure compliance with HACCP, SSOPs, and SPS programs. Verify monitoring instruments are accurately calibrated and provide quality verification services for receiving, storage, packaging, and raw materials under Good Manufacturing Practices. Maintain records, enter quality-related data, and communicate inspection findings. Suspend production upon discovery of improper insanitary conditions or positive control issues, and retain non-conforming products. Follow all safety rules and perform other duties as assigned.
Desired Qualifications
- Knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP's) through the Food and Drug Administration (FDA)
- Understanding/knowledge of HAACP principles
- Experience with 3rd party Food Safety Audits
