Job Summary
Oversee product fabrication in assigned areas within the plant and ensure compliance with GMP, HACCP, USDA, and company food safety regulations. Implement approved standards to minimize defects and ensure quality products. Conduct ongoing risk assessments, develop and monitor corrective actions, supervise sanitation standards pre- and post-operational, and create/conduct statistical analyses for quality attributes to identify process weaknesses and drive improvements. Read and interpret process charts, graphs, and logs to ensure processes are followed and yield accurate results.
Required Qualifications
- High school degree or GED equivalent
- 1-3 years experience in a food processing environment with thorough knowledge of food microbiology and HACCP
- Excellent oral and written communication skills on a technical level
- Ability to perform complex math calculations regarding formulations, added ingredients, restricted ingredients, and percent yields
- Ability to read and analyze process charts, graphs, and logs
- HACCP certification desired
