Job Summary
Quality Assurance Technician I supports FSQA & EHS initiatives by testing samples and inspecting materials, in-process products, and finished goods to ensure compliance with food safety, quality standards, and customer specifications. Responsibilities include administering GMP procedures, conducting facility audits and corrective actions, reviewing production documents, placing out-of-spec materials on hold, collecting and recording data, preparing reports, assisting in investigations of customer complaints, maintaining clean and organized workspaces, supporting internal audits and continuous improvement, performing pre-operational inspections, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to resolve quality issues in a fast-paced food manufacturing environment.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in quality control, preferably in a food manufacturing environment
- Knowledge of HACCP, GMP, and SQF
