Job Summary
QA Technician I responsible for cleaning, facility upkeep, and material handling across customer, employee, operational, and back-of-house areas in a data center environment. Perform janitorial tasks (cleaning, vacuuming, trash removal, room organization), maintain common areas and back-of-house spaces, handle basic materials and cleaning chemicals safely, operate basic warehouse equipment (pallet jacks, forklifts) as trained, and monitor supplies. Adhere to safety procedures, communicate needs clearly, work reliably alone or with a team, and maintain a professional presence in customer-facing areas. Requires a high school diploma or equivalent, basic janitorial/maintenance experience, basic PC skills, valid driver’s license, and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds; able to work extended hours during peak periods; bilingual English communication for safety instructions.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Basic janitorial, cleaning, facility upkeep, or maintenance experience
- Basic PC skills, including email and internal communication tools
- Understanding of safety practices for cleaning materials, chemicals, and facility work
- Ability to converse in English for work instructions and safety communication
- Valid state-issued driver’s license
- Reliable transportation to the work site
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, use hands, carry supplies, operate approved tools, and work from a ladder
- Ability to work indoors and outdoors using required safety practices
- Ability to lift or move up to 20 pounds frequently and up to 50 pounds occasionally
- Ability to wear approved Personal Protective Equipment when required
- Ability to work extended hours during peak work periods when needed
