Job Summary
QA Team Lead responsible for defining robust testing standards and driving automation initiatives using Playwright and AI-powered testing tools. Leads test automation initiatives for web applications, mentors QA and engineering teams, and collaborates with developers, product managers, and data scientists to embed AI-driven testing into CI/CD pipelines. Focus areas include scalable automated testing, quality attributes (security, performance, reliability), and continuous improvement of testing methodologies. Keeps up with industry trends in AI, test automation, and web testing frameworks to deliver high-quality software products. Strong leadership, communication, and ability to mentor teams across functional groups are essential.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field
- 5+ years in software quality engineering
- hands-on experience in test automation
- experience with Playwright
- experience with AI-powered testing tools
- leadership/mentorship abilities
- collaboration with cross-functional teams
- CI/CD pipelines
- DevOps practices
- modern development frameworks and languages (JavaScript/TypeScript, Java, Python)
