Job Summary
QA System Lead in Kyiv leading two teams totaling around 6 colleagues (with future expansion to 10+ engineers) and acting as QA Lead for a large-scale project. Focus on enabling collaboration, aligning testing approaches including automation, ensuring consistency in QA processes across multiple development teams, driving hiring and onboarding, coordinating QA activities, contributing to test strategy with stakeholders, and strengthening connections between QA, development, product, and release teams.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field
- 5+ years of professional experience in software development as a QA Lead or relevant roles (Test Manager, Quality Manager etc.)
- Proven people management experience
- Strong experience defining and implementing end-to-end QA strategies across the SDLC, including Shift-Left practices
- Strong focus on test coverage monitoring, defect management, and root cause analysis
- Solid knowledge of test pyramid principles (unit, integration, UI) and their practical implementation in modern systems
- Strong experience in non-functional testing (performance, resilience, compatibility etc.)
- Strong collaboration and communication skills
- Experience of working in cross-team and cross-location environments
- Fluent English
