QA Supervisor

Job Summary
Enforce safety and quality regulations by reviewing production schedules, assigning staffing, and measuring materials to ensure conformance to standards. Conduct employee training in quality processes, confer with management to resolve grievances, and monitor performance of quality control systems. Identify critical points in manufacturing, specify sampling procedures, and create inspection criteria throughout production cycles. Collect and analyze production samples to provide feedback, recommend solutions for quality problems, and produce reports on nonconformance and root causes. Review standard operating procedures, quality documentation for regulatory submissions, and instruct staff on testing procedures. Interview, select, hire, and evaluate personnel while requisitioning materials and supplies.
Required Qualifications
- Mathematical Skills – Accuracy with arithmetic, subtraction, multiplication, division, decimals, percentages, fractions, and algebra
- Language Skills – Must be able to communicate complex concepts in English, verbally and in writing
- Computer Skills – Must be able to use Microsoft Office, operate inventory software, time keeping or other business-related software
- Education – degree in Food Science or a Technical field or have equivalent field experience
- Employment offers are contingent on successful completion of drug screen and background check

- Knowledge of sanitation requirements for quality assurance and food safety criteria (HACCP), food production processing, chemistry, biology, Food and Dietary Supplement cGMP's, human resources, and safety of personnel
