Job Summary
QA Supervisor on the production floor overseeing quality and food-safety checks across CYM commissaries and stores; leads audits, training, and coaching to ensure adherence to recipes, SOPs, and HACCP standards while supporting and improving product quality and regulatory compliance. Based primarily in the DMV Commissary with support in Denver; monitors daily quality standards, conducts routine quality checks, trains team members, maintains documentation, and participates in investigations and corrective actions. Role includes occasional shift supervision and cross-department collaboration to uphold food safety and quality programs.
Required Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in a commercial food production, bakery, commissary, or restaurant environment
- Supervisory, lead, trainer, or quality assurance experience preferred
- Strong understanding of food safety, sanitation, and quality assurance principles
- HACCP, ServSafe, or equivalent food safety certification preferred
- Experience auditing food safety practices and coaching teams on compliance
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently while collaborating with multiple departments
- Comfortable spending significant time in production environments and stores
- Ability to work flexible schedules, including early mornings, weekends, and holidays as needed
- Passion for food quality, consistency, and operational excellence
- Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in production environments
