Job Summary
QA Supervisor needed to lead development and implementation of Food Safety Fundamentals (SQF) and assist in maintaining the Food Safety Plan under FSMA. Responsibilities include sampling, inspection, and analysis of materials; scheduling and conducting internal food safety/GMP audits; ensuring compliance with GMPs, HACCP, allergen control, sanitation, calibration, and pest control; mentoring QA technicians, addressing customer complaints through root-cause analysis and corrective actions; and serving as backup to the QA Manager while upholding all quality, safety, GMP, and AMPI policies. The role requires collaboration with production and sanitation teams to drive product quality in a multi-plant dairy manufacturing environment.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Associates or Bachelor’s Degree in Science related field or minimum of 5 years equivalent experience in food manufacturing
- 2 years of supervisory experience preferred
- Valid driver’s license
