Job Summary
Lead QA labs or cross-site QA team to develop and implement world-class methods for product and process analysis, enabling informed quality decisions. Provide expert technical guidance on product quality, corrective actions, and disposition; develop and deploy innovative methods (including SOPs, training aids, logs, databases, control charts, and project intake). Apply advanced methods (e.g., Design of Experiments) to solve complex problems and drive improvements. Mentor and train QA Scientists, Technicians, and SMEs; collaborate with other departments to support process improvements and projects; communicate effectively with all levels of the organization and external stakeholders. Travel 10%-40% and contribute to enterprise-wide initiatives and external benchmarking.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree or the equivalent training and related work experience
- minimum of eight (8) years of on-the-job experience
- Expert working knowledge of Analytical Chemistry, Microbiology, Sensory, Material Quality and/or Quality Systems
- Ability to exercise initiative and judgment and make decisions within scope of authority
- Demonstrated ability to develop, deploy and improve processes to industry-leading standards
