Job Summary
Lead the QA/QC Project Team by conducting analysis, inspections, and design reviews to assure product quality and reduce fabrication errors. Perform quality engineering reviews of design documentation, apply statistical process control methods, and audit execution of the Project Specific Quality Control Plan against Standard Operating Procedures. Serve as the primary QA/QC point of contact for assigned projects, conducting routine jobsite and fabrication shop visits to verify compliance with ASME codes and customer requirements. Direct technical and administrative workers, mentor QC staff, and lead the identification and resolution of nonconformances, installation defects, and code deviations. Work directly with Project Managers, Superintendents, and Engineering to provide status updates on quality trends and project readiness. Ensure all local projects follow ACCO's QA/QC Program, welding and brazing programs, and Inspection Test Plans while supporting audits and third-party verification activities.
Required Qualifications
- Associate degree (A.A.) or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school
- 10 years of overall experience and/or training
- 8 years of experience in Quality Control focused on ASME B31 piping codes, industrial and commercial construction, fabrication, welding, non-destructive testing, and/or other similar fields
- Current certification in accordance with AWS QC-1 as a Senior Certified Welding Inspector (SCWI), Certified Welding Inspector (CWI), and /or ICC Mechanical – Commercial Certification
- Minimum 5 years' experience as a Certified Welding Inspector (CWI)
- 3+ years in a leadership or supervisory QA/QC role
- Proficient understanding of ASME Section IX BP&V Code

Desired Qualifications
- 5+ years in construction QA/QC preferred in industrial construction, process piping, semiconductor/high-purity environments, or hydronic HVAC/mechanical systems
