QA/QC Manager

Job Summary
Develop and maintain QA/QC standards for the division and project-level requirements. Review project specifications for code compliance and constructability within industry standards. Conduct and manage field observations of all MEP systems to determine compliance with approved plans and contract documents. Prepare regular periodic quality control reports for the management team and maintain records relative to QA/QC work. Monitor work status to ensure installation aligns with latest contract documents and partner with coordination to ensure accurate install/fab and as-built drawings. Organize QC/QA preparatory and planning meetings prior to field work. Recognize deficiencies and direct corrective actions as necessary.
Required Qualifications
- 6+ years of QA/QC experience in the construction industry
- 3+ years of managerial experience, overseeing a team
- Experience in reading technical documents, drawings and / or schematics
- Experience auditing systems, processes, products both internally and externally
- Experience in working with Quality Management Systems
- Understanding and working knowledge of mechanical, plumbing, fire protection, and controls systems, along with general construction knowledge
Desired Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction or related field preferred or applicable experience
