Job Summary
Oversee all quality assurance, quality control, welding inspections, and related documentation on the assigned site, ensuring work adheres to applicable codes, standards, and client specifications. Lead QA/QC personnel, coordinate with sub-contract inspection teams, and manage verification of weld maps, NDE requirements, heat treatment, and flange QC processes. Develop final QC packages, code travelers, and procedures while acting as the primary focal point for quality-related issues and root cause investigations. Maintain welder qualification logs, RT percentages, and PMAC tags to ensure full compliance. Requires current AWS CWI certification and 4+ years of relevant experience.
Required Qualifications
- High school education or equivalent
- Min. 4 years recent experience in an occupational function that has a direct relationship to welded assemblies fabricated to a recognized code or standard
- 2 years of consistent Experience in a QA/QC Job Function
- Current AWS CWI Certification
