QA / QC Manager - Data Center Facilities Operations (NON IT)

Job Summary
QA / QC Manager for Data Center Facilities operations leads quality across multi-facility data center construction projects, focusing on installation and commissioning of critical infrastructure systems. Responsibilities include site walk-throughs to verify procedures, managing level 1-3 commissioning, reporting to senior management, ensuring site readiness and uptime, developing and approving MOPs for DC builds, supervising facility staff and subcontractors, managing client relationships, benchmarking and reporting performance, coordinating with design/construction teams, and implementing industry best practices in mission-critical O&M programs. Requirements include a Bachelor's in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering (or equivalent, military considered), Cx credentials (BCxP, CxA, CCP), NETA/NICET and MEP licensing advantages, 5-10+ years in data-center construction/commissioning, experience with large-scale projects (5 MW+), strong QA/QC experience, and proficiency with MS Office and BIM/CxAlloy tools. Travel available; relocation assistance offered.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering / Mechanical Engineering or relevant experience including Military a plus
- Certifications as a Cx Professional (BCxP, CxA, CCP, etc.)a plus
- NETA / NICET certification a plus
- Journeyman or Master’s License in MEP a plus
- 5-10+ years of data center facility construction and commissioning experience
- Data Center Project experience on projects 5 MW or larger a plus
- 3-5 years of Quality Assurance / Quality Controls, Commissioning, MEP Coordination, or other relevant experience
- Previous experience working with a GC or 3rd Party CxA Company a huge plus
- Solid Understanding of Critical Electrical Power Systems or Mechanical / HVAC equipment in a data center environment
- Previous experience in the Military / Military Veterans a huge plus
- Experience with BIM 360 / ACC, CxAlloy, end user ACMS as necessary
- Strong verbal and written communications skills; Good presentation skills
- Superior analytical, planning and problem resolution skills
- Highly organized with proved project management abilities; self motivated
- Strong organizational skills and detail oriented
- Strong customer service skills
- Open to travel M-F / home on weekends / limited travel if located near a project
