QA/QC Inspector Libya

Job Summary
Conduct quality inspections of piping, mechanical, and construction activities to verify compliance with approved plans, drawings, and technical specifications. Review material certificates, inspect fit-up, welding, NDT, pressure testing, and mechanical completion, while ensuring proper implementation of WPS, PQR, and welder qualifications. Coordinate hold points with construction teams and subcontractors, prepare inspection reports and quality records, and manage non-conformities and corrective actions. Maintain calibrated equipment and support site quality audits and meetings. This assignment involves a rotational schedule in Misrata, Libya, with EU citizenship required.
Required Qualifications
- Proven experience as QA/QC Inspector on EPC construction projects within Oil & Gas, petrochemical, fuel storage, terminals, pipelines or similar industrial sectors
- Strong experience in piping and mechanical inspection activities
- Good knowledge of welding inspection, NDT methods, material traceability, hydrotesting and mechanical completion documentation
- Familiarity with applicable international standards and codes, including ASME, API, ASTM, ISO and relevant EN standards
- Ability to read P&IDs, isometric drawings, general arrangements and technical specifications
- Experience with Inspection and Test Plans, NCR management, punch lists, test packs and quality dossiers
- Good command of English
- Availability to work on a rotational basis in Libya
- Citizenship of an EU Member State
Desired Qualifications
- Relevant welding, NDT, coating or mechanical inspection certifications
- Previous experience with aviation fuel facilities or fuel storage and distribution systems
- Knowledge of French
