Job Summary
QA/QC Field Engineer on-site role responsible for leading quality control across construction, commissioning, and punch list phases. Collaborates with site leadership, designers, clients, trade contractors, and craftspeople to ensure compliance with project documents, codes, and standards. Duties include scheduling inspections, performing on-site inspections across scopes, attending QA/QC meetings, verifying installations of Owner Furnished Equipment, interpreting compliance with permits, and communicating quality status. Requires at least 4 years of construction QA/QC experience, strong documentation review and coordination skills, OSHA safety commitment, experience with BIM360/Procore, and a bachelor’s degree in a related engineering or construction discipline. Required Qualifications
- Minimum 4 years’ experience in a construction QA/QC role
- Experience conducting on-site inspections and managing quality control processes across construction phases
- Experience reviewing and interpreting construction documents, specifications, and applicable codes and standards
- Strong commitment to quality compliance with OSHA standards and site-specific safety requirements
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with clients, engineers, vendors, and subcontractors
- Advanced visual observation and interpretation skills for identifying installation deficiencies and non-conformances
- Ability to manage multiple concurrent work activities in a fast-paced environment
- Proficiency with field management software such as BIM360 or Procore
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Bluebeam
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, or Structural Engineering, Construction Management, or related discipline preferred
- Proof of education, licenses, and certifications will be required where applicable
