QA/QC Field Coordinator - Miami, FL

Job Summary
Serve as the quality representative on construction projects, ensuring compliance with company and governmental quality standards. Communicate quality assurance practices with project teams and conduct audits to identify non-compliance, recommending corrective actions. Develop relationships with clients and provide mentorship to field personnel. Support the use of internal quality assurance systems and ensure accurate documentation of field operations. Qualifications include an Associate’s Degree in a related field, relevant work experience, and proficiency in construction quality processes and tools.
Required Qualifications
- Associate’s Degree in Architecture, Construction Management or related field
- 1 year of work experience in construction quality-related work
- Ability to perform work accurately and completely
- Ability to setup and use PLS, Builders Level, Grade Stick, and Rotary Levels
- Understanding of ACI, PTI, and CRSI Tolerances
- Proficient verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to read drawings, specifications, building codes
- Knowledge of material and field-testing for QA processes
- Knowledge of construction assemblies for various systems
- Ability to recognize non-compliant conditions and initiate corrective measures
- Knowledge of construction trades and scopes of work
Desired Qualifications
- PTI Certification preferred
- Proficient in MS Office and formal presentation skills
