QA/QC Engineer - MEP | Saudi Arabia

Job Summary
Conduct daily on-site surveillance for MEP works, identifying and documenting deficiencies to prevent recurrence while coordinating with subcontractors on Inspection and Test Plans. Develop comprehensive inspection schedules aligned with project timelines and verify material compliance with specifications and local standards. Prepare and submit method statements, submittals, and prequalification documents, ensuring accurate documentation of all QA QC activities and trend reports. Collaborate with the execution team and consultants to implement corrective actions for Non-Conformance Reports and lead internal inspections to verify preventive actions. Facilitate project closeout procedures and coordinate snagging inspections with the site team and consultants.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum experience of 6 years as a Quality Control Engineer in MEP works
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
- Strong experience in building construction projects, preferably residential or commercial
- Good knowledge of MEP systems including HVAC, electrical, and plumbing
- Possess a solid knowledge of MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing) works
- Should have a fair knowledge of Civil works for the areas responsible
- Possess knowledge of local and international standards, including but not limited to the Saudi building code, SASO, NFPA, ECRA, ASHRAE, plumbing codes, and local authority regulations and requirements
Desired Qualifications
- Middle East experience is preferable
