Job Summary
QA/QC Engineer focused on data center construction seeks to drive CX processes and ensure installation, commissioning, and operation of critical infrastructure. Responsibilities include coordinating between engineering and construction teams, performing L1-L3 QA inspections, developing and reviewing SOPs/MOPs, creating QA checklists, documenting processes, and ensuring alignment with industry standards for mission-critical data center facilities. Requires collaboration with contractors/vendors, site walk-throughs, and ensuring readiness for high-availability uptime. Travel is open to M-F with weekends at home as project needs dictate; location based in Columbus, OH.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering / Mechanical Engineering or relevant experience including Military a huge plus
- 2-5 years of experience in data center facility operations, commissioning, or military
- 2-5 years of Quality Assurance / Quality Controls, Commissioning, MEP Coordination, or other relevant experience
- L1, L2, L3 Cx testing experience in a Data Center Environment a huge plus
- NETA certification a plus
- Journeyman License a plus
- Strong communication and documentation skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office; BIM 360 / ACC, CxAlloy experience
