QA/QC Engineer

Job Summary
QA/QC Engineer to coordinate quality planning and ensure compliance with approved Method Statements, ITPs, and project specifications across civil/structural construction works in Lagos, Nigeria. Responsibilities include inspecting construction activities, coordinating field and laboratory testing, raising and closing NCRs, maintaining quality records, preparing daily/weekly/monthly QA/QC reports, reviewing shop drawings and material submittals, calibrating testing equipment, and liaising with consultants, contractors, and laboratories. Requires a Civil/Structural Engineering degree (registered with a recognized engineering body) and 4–10 years of QA/QC experience in construction/infrastructure/oil & gas projects; familiarity with ISO 9001 and strong communication skills. Willingness to live and work in Epe, Lagos.
Required Qualifications
- Civil or Structural Engineering degree; registered with a recognized professional Engineering body
- 4–10 years of QA/QC experience in construction/infrastructure/oil & gas projects
- Experience with concrete, piling, structural, geotechnical, and finishing works is an advantage
- Familiarity with ISO 9001 Quality Management Systems
- Ability to interpret engineering drawings and specifications
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work in shifts and overtime
