QA/QC Associate

Job Summary
Conduct routine field inspections to verify compliance with project plans, specifications, and quality standards for Rizzo's construction projects. Perform quality control inspections for materials and workmanship, then document inspections, deficiencies, corrective actions, and project quality records. Review construction drawings, specifications, submittals, and applicable codes while maintaining organized QA/QC documentation and inspection logs. Participate in project meetings to communicate quality concerns to the team and ensure adherence to company standards and client expectations. This role supports the Quality Assurance and Quality Control program across various sites, requiring close collaboration with project managers, superintendents, and subcontractors.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 2-3 years of construction, inspection, or quality control experience
- OSHA 10 or 30 certification
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- Experience using ProjectSight, Bluebeam, or similar construction software
- Ability to work independently and as part of a project team
Desired Qualifications
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Engineering Technology, or a related field is preferred
- Quality management certifications are a plus, especially NETTCP's Quality Assurance Technologist Certification
