Job Summary
QA Operations Expert responsible for QA release activities of raw materials and consumables, including monitoring and completion of release decisions, overseeing non-conformities (OOS, OOE, OOT, deviations, complaints), and promoting quality-related topics. Requires coordination across DEV, OOx, and complaint investigations; extensive collaboration across boundaries; continuous training; and support for health authority inspections and customer audits. Minimum bachelor’s degree in life sciences or related field with at least 2 years QC experience and knowledge of GMP/GDP; fluency in English and German; ability to manage ambiguity and drive continuous improvement. Position offers part-time and flexible/remote working where possible within Novartis environment; Austrian minimum salary disclosed as part of collective bargaining. The role is based in Kundl or Schaftenau, Austria with potential hybrid/remote work arrangements.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent in life sciences or equivalent discipline (bioengineering, pharmacy, medical, biology, chemistry, etc.)
- Minimum 2 years of QC experience
- Knowledge of GMP and GDP standards and processes
- Risk Management and Quality Decision Making
- English and German language proficiency
