Job Summary
QA Manual Tester position focused on developing and executing manual/automated tests including data exchange, component, functional, and performance testing. Applicants must collaborate closely with developers on unit test design and analysis, review requirements, document defects, and participate in scrum meetings. Required skills include a minimum of 5 years in QA engineering, experience with SQL for complex queries, strong knowledge of Agile environments, and familiarity with JAVA and automation tools.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years’ experience as a QA Engineer or SDET with database test focus
- Writing test plans and test cases
- Operating and maintaining automated tests
- Executing manual tests and test plans
- SQL – write and execute complex SQL queries
- Strong knowledge of data mapping, data models, data relationship comparisons
- Strong knowledge and experience in Agile environments, QA methodologies, concepts, processes
- Experience with a technology stack including: JAVA, JDBC, MS SQL, Oracle
- Exposure to automation tools including: HP UFT, CA DevTest
Desired Qualifications
- Familiar with EDI, EDIFACT, XML, and/or X12 is a plus
