Job Summary
Lead day-to-day QA testing activities by developing and executing manual and automated testing strategies to support product releases. Conduct exploratory testing, create defect reports, and perform root-cause analysis while analyzing data to identify problem areas and recommend improvements. Define team metrics for measuring quality and operational effectiveness, advocate for engineering best practices, and ensure adherence to company QA procedures. Mentor junior team members and collaborate with cross-functional partners to drive testing efficiency and improve the overall craft of quality.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree
- 4+ years of experience in Quality Assurance
- 1-2 years of experience managing or leading QA testing projects, or serving as a technical point of contact on a QA team
- 4+ years of experience in software testing and test automation/performance
- Solid, demonstrable understanding of software development and testing practices
- Proficiency in test automation using Selenium
- exposure to C# or a similar object-oriented language
- Experience developing test strategies, test plans, and test cases
- Ability to identify performance, load, and stress testing needs
