Job Summary
Quality Assurance Manager for a Mobile, AL facility leading QA and Sanitation teams in a highly regulated food-manufacturing environment. Responsible for overseeing HACCP, FSMA, USDA, FDA, and GFSI compliance, managing internal, customer, and third-party audits, supervising lab operations and calibration, investigating customer complaints and driving CAPA initiatives, strengthening GMPs and allergen controls, maintaining SOPs and training programs, and tracking quality KPIs for plant and corporate leadership. Also supports new product launches and process improvements through strong regulatory, audit, and analytical capabilities with leadership and cross-functional collaboration.
Required Qualifications
- 10+ years in food manufacturing
- 5+ years in QA leadership
- Strong regulatory, audit, and compliance expertise
- Internal Audit Certification preferred
- Proven team leadership and cross-functional collaboration skills
- Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving abilities
- Preferred Experience: TraceGains, Safefood 360, or Intelex
- Supplier quality programs
- Six Sigma Green/Black Belt certification
