Job Summary
Quality Technician in a day-shift 2-2-3 rotation responsible for maintaining quality and food safety compliance, supporting production lines, sampling and analyzing products, data entry into quality databases, escalating non-compliant product for corrective action, conducting inspections and swabbing (environmental, ATP, allergen), performing line audits, label/packaging verifications, calibration of lab equipment, and contributing to QA projects while ensuring thorough documentation and adherence to 5S in the lab and plant environment. Requires collaboration with peers, ability to operate PPE, and capability to communicate findings to line leadership.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of two (2) years previous quality assurance lab experience or two (2) years of manufacturing experience
- Preferred Associate degree in food science or related science
- Basic math skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Outlook
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Attention to detail
