Job Summary
Lead the creation, development, and execution of functional and non-functional testing strategies for the platform, ensuring alignment with the QE Strategy. Own and be accountable for testing delivery across the team, standardizing practices and designing reusable templates to enhance test design efficiency. Conduct exploratory, functional, and automated progression and regression testing while coordinating test plans with release and environment schedules for each PI. Mentor team members, promote QA best practices, and contribute to continuous improvement of testing processes. Log and track defects using management tools to ensure timely resolution. Coordinate end-to-end testing with the team and stakeholders in a hands-on manner.
Required Qualifications
- At least 8 years of experience in software testing in a lead capacity
- Proficiency in using JIRA, Confluence, Zephyr, or similar test management tools
- Familiarity with Agile and DevOps practices
- QE experience in Salesforce and Genesys platforms
- Experience testing cloud-hosted applications
- Knowledge or experience in insurance or finance domains
- Experience working with Playwright and AI-assisted testing tools
- Mobile testing experience
- Leads quality with conviction – holds the quality bar even under delivery pressure, and advocates for it
- Communicates with clarity and confidence across engineering, product, and business stakeholders
- Forms a view before asking for direction – brings recommendations
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a collaborative, pragmatic approach
- Brings opinions, engages with pushback genuinely, and changes their mind when the evidence warrants it
- The preferred candidate will be subject to background screening conducted by Tritusa or an approved third-party provider
