QA - Lead | Software Testing

Job Summary
Lead and mentor the QA team, defining strategies, standards, and release benchmarks to ensure quality and timely execution. Design and review test plans, cases, and scripts across functional, integration, system, and regression testing while overseeing manual and automated activities using Selenium, Appium, and JMeter. Develop and maintain automation frameworks, review code for quality and reusability, and drive continuous improvement in QA processes. Log, track, and prioritize defects in JIRA, perform root cause analysis, and share quality metrics with stakeholders. Conduct performance, load, regression, and stability testing to ensure reliable software under real-world conditions. Maintain clear documentation of test cases and results while adhering to SDLC, STLC, and QA standards.
Required Qualifications
- 3–5 years in Software Testing / QA
- Prior experience in a QA Lead / Senior QA role with team handling
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or related fields
- Strong expertise in manual testing and test case design
- Solid understanding of SDLC, STLC, and QA methodologies
- Hands-on experience with automation tools: Selenium, Appium, JMeter
- Proficiency in: Python / JavaScript
- Experience with: JIRA, TestRail or similar tools
- Strong knowledge of: Functional, Regression, Integration, System, API, and Performance Testing
- Experience in test code review, coding standards, and maintaining readable, scalable automation scripts
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
- High attention to detail and quality
- Strong communication and documentation skills
Desired Qualifications
- Exposure to AI, machine vision, or data-intensive systems
- Experience in AI/ML, image processing, or machine vision systems
- Exposure to industrial or manufacturing software environments
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and Agile workflows
- Performance testing experience using JMeter (LoadRunner is a plus)
- C++ is a plus
